Wiki-thon for the International Woman’s Day
In honor of International Woman’s Day on March 8 th , 500 Women Scientists is organizing an international Wiki-thon event in order to increase the number of Wikipedia biographies of women in STEM. These events have served to appreciably increase the visibility of remarkable women and female role models, as well as combat systemic gender bias. The Cologne and Bonn Pods are proud to promote these objectives and will participate in this event in collaboration with Wikimedia, DE. Our Wiki-thon campaign is slated for March 7 th from 11 am to 5 pm at the local Wikipedia office of Cologne, Germany. Click here to add the event on your calendar.
